No. 3: Cornerback Michael Ojemudia

Michael Ojemudia was a 3rd rounds selection in the 2020 draft and penciled in as the team’s 3rd cornerback behind Bryce Callahan and A.J. Bouye.

The team moved on from Bouye this offseason, and it seemed as though Ojemudia may have the inside track at the CB2 role behind Callahan, even if a rookie was selected early in the 2021 draft.

Ojemudia had an up-and-down season in 2020 but showed promise through toughness that the team sorely needed.

Additionally, Ojemudia was able to force four fumbles and was in a position to get multiple interceptions last season. One would assume his play can only improve.

However, Paton struck early and often by adding Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller to the cornerback room hurting Ojemudia’s chances to play often for the Broncos.

Essentially, pushing Ojemudia down the depth chart to CB4. Ojemudia may have to wait a season to get real playing time.
