Bring on all of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Unlike some of the names on this list, Desmond King is a player who could project in a variety of roles for the Denver Broncos.

With Kareem Jackson’s option being declined for the 2021 season, the Broncos could look to a player like King — who has played a versatile role in the secondary since coming into the NFL out of Iowa — to possibly project to a similar role.

King can play off coverage from the slot and be effective. He can be used as a blitzer. He is definitely willing and able to hit.

He can also be a return man for you if need be.

There are a variety of roles you could project King to in the Vic Fangio defense and his ball skills and ability to create turnovers would be welcomed with open arms.

The hope with signing a player like King is that you could figure out how to bring his 2018 form back. He was an All-Pro for the Chargers that year and was dynamic both as a defensive back and return specialist.
