5. Isaiah Oliver, Falcons

The pride of Colorado and entering his last year of the contract Atlanta Falcons cornerback Isaiah Oliver would essentially come back home.

Oliver had a steady uptick in playing time with the Falcons and saw his production rise every single season. In his first season, Oliver only started in two games but played in 14 of them. Then in 2019 and 2020 Oliver took a prominent role.

Oliver racked up on average 60+ tackles in back-to-back seasons and even though he didn’t have interceptions he forced fumbles in 2019 and 2020.

He is an instinctual and smart corner who understands his responsibilities as a corner. There is a lot to like about Oliver in Atlanta who was taken in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Back with Colorado Oliver, he started as a wide receiver as a freshman before transferring to cornerback. Oliver started showing promise with Buffaloes and becoming a playmaker in his next two seasons.

His 32 pass breakups rank 10th all-time in school history and played with fellow free agent Chidobe Awuzie at Colorado. He became a First-Team PAC-12 honor in 2017 before declaring for the NFL Draft.

Maybe there’s a chance for a Colorado reunion with Awuzie and Oliver back in Denver.
