Shelby Harris would be a good addition to a Packers defense in a division facing tough RBs

Green Bay Packers

How about a homecoming for the Wisconsin Native?

The Packers missed out on J.J. Watt recently, and although they are two different types of players, what Harris could bring to Green Bay would be some much-needed pressure in the backfield.

Going up against the likes of Dalvin Cook, D’Andre Swift and David Montgomery, and the fact that Green Bay will potentially lose several of their defensive linemen, bringing Harris to the Packers would be a smart move.

The Packers have a very young group on the defensive line. Adding the veteran experience and presence that Harris brings would be smart.

It also makes sense for Harris, as he is from Wisconsin. Obviously, Harris will like to get paid, and the Packers are currently over the cap for the 2021 season, there’s no doubt that they can make some adjustments to their cap room and be able to sign Harris.

There are usually always ways to make things work and doing this would be a solid move for both parties.
