4. Clarity at running back

There’s no question the Denver Broncos will explore the running back position in the 2021 NFL Draft.

With Phillip Lindsay becoming a restricted free agent, and Melvin Gordon set to miss several games because of a pending suspension, the only running back who is probably ‘likely’ to make the roster at this point is Royce Freeman.

It’s possible that the Broncos cut ties with Gordon at some point, and it is possible that the Broncos are interested in bringing Lindsay back on a tender deal.

That still leaves the position a question mark.

Travis Wakeman touched on the disrespect Lindsay has been getting.

How does new general manager George Paton view Lindsay? Does he think that Gordon is worth keeping around despite the pending suspension?

Time will tell.
