Joe Tryon is more of a day two prospect at this time, so the Broncos could look for him to be on the board in the third round. But just because he’s not going to be a first-round pick doesn’t mean he can’t eventually replace Miller. After all, the player who led the team in sacks last season was once undrafted.

Tryon opted out of the 2020 season after posting 12.5 sacks during the 2019 campaign. Because of the layoff, there will be questions and it could cause his stock to drop a bit, but he’s also been preparing for a professional career for some time, hiring an agent right after letting the school know he wouldn’t be back.

He has a high football IQ, but what you see on the field from a physical standpoint is what is most impressive. His first step is ridiculous, his hands are strong and his flexibility is as good as anyone else on this list.

What makes a potential third-round selection of Tryon most intriguing is the idea that the Broncos could get what they are looking for at cornerback and another position such as safety or offensive tackle in the second round.

Grabbing players at those two spots and then adding Tryon, a potential steal, in the third round could be quite the early draft haul.

The other four names on this list will be mentioned in connection with the Broncos many times leading up to the selection process in late April, but Tryon might be the name to remember.
