Pro No. 3: Impact of JJ Watt on other players

Can you imagine a pass rush that consisted of JJ Watt, Bradley Chubb, and Von Miller?

Scheming for a defense that has that type of pass rush would be so scary. Almost to the point of trying to convince the league to make a six-offensive lineman offense the standard every week.

We saw Malik Reed have a phenomenal year as a starter in place of Miller.

Imagine having Watt on the defensive line, holding up offensive linemen, and allowing those other pass rushers to run wild at the quarterback.

Watt is a legitimate threat on defense.

It’s also important to remember that a solid pass rush could influence a secondary in a very positive way. The Broncos’ secondary is very young, and with the release of A.J. Bouye, they need all the help they can get even if it’s not from the secondary itself.

Kareem Jackson has the most NFL experience of the secondary and adding Watt could up his game even more.

If the Broncos ended up signing Watt, we could see some players get more recognition than they already do.
