Denver rewarded left tackle Garrett Bolles with a four-year, $68 million contract for his redemption season that saw him rank as one of the top lineman in the league.

Meanwhile, second-year guard Dalton Risner and rookie center Lloyd Cushenberry struggled to perform and it showed, as Drew Lock was seemingly fighting to stay upright. Pursuing someone like New England Patriots guard Joe Thuney could solidify the O-line for a stronger offense.

The case against Thuney is that he is most likely going to be too rich for the Broncos taste, as the New York Jets, who have an estimated $65 million in cap space, are expected to pursue the left guard.

It would be rare for a team to let a sturdy lineman in his prime to test the market and with Thuney starting all 64 games of his career, the Patriots may franchise tag him or offer him a contract north of $15 million.
