Denver Broncos players who could be future postseason studs.

The Denver Broncos missed the postseason for the fifth time in a row since winning Super Bowl 50. They’re still a young team that has a bright future ahead of them.

Since then, there has been so much turnover. The team has had plenty of different coaches since then, and only two players have been with the team since before that Super Bowl (Von Miller and Brandon McManus). Nose tackle Sylvester Williams left after the 2016 season but has returned in 2020.

With this season being so nuts in terms of injuries, other players have had to step up for the team.

It is important to note that it could take the Broncos a couple of years to make it to the playoffs. That will just give everyone time to improve and get into the swing of playoff football.

With that being said, here are a couple of players I feel could play big parts during a future postseason run.

Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons could continue great performances in the postseason.

In head coach Vic Fangio’s system, there aren’t a ton of players who will play every (or close to every) snap for the team throughout the course of a season. The only exception has been free safety Justin Simmons. Strong safety Kareem Jackson is just behind hm, playing four less snaps.

Simmons has an eye for going after ball carriers and being in Fangio’s system another year could be a huge breaking point for him.

In a year that has been filled with injuries and inexperience, Simmons has been one of the (very) few constants on the Broncos. I can’t wait to see what he can do in the playoffs.
