Prediction

The Broncos are going to win this game, which will take most of the drama out of their draft selection.

The Raiders should have been a playoff team this year but they blew it and have not been playing well as of late. With the hopes of a playoff spot erased, they are playing for a .500 finish.

The Broncos may not be the better team in this game, but they seem like they are more inspired to finish strong and end the season on a high note. They should have won in Los Angeles last week and they will get it right this week.

Look for Lock and Jeudy to connect many times in this game, making up for what we saw last week.

The Broncos will finish 6-10 and pick somewhere between No. 12 and 15 in the first round.

But if they lose…

If the Broncos were to lose, looking at the games around the rest of the league, this is how I  would see the first 15 picks in next year’s draft.

1. Jacksonville

2. N.Y. Jets

3. Houston (pick goes to Miami)

4. Atlanta

5. Cincinnati

6. Philadelphia

7. Detroit

8. N.Y. Giants

9. Denver

10. Carolina

11. L.A. Chargers

12. Dallas

13. Minnesota

14. Las Vegas

15. New England

As you can see, I don’t think many of the teams with better picks than the Broncos currently have are going to win on Sunday. .As of right now, the Broncos would have the N0. 10 overall pick in the first round. In this scenario, they would move up one slot.

Broncos fans should be rooting for a win on Sunday and let the pieces fall where they may after that.
