It’s been a rough season for the Denver Broncos, but a few guys have increased their potential future earnings.

At the end of each season, particularly when a team fails to reach the playoffs, the focus immediately shifts to the offseason  and free agency. For the Broncos, some key players will hit the open market this offseason.

Despite the team having a 5-10 record heading into the season finale against the Las Vegas Raiders, there are players on the team that have made themselves some money for the future.

To be eligible for this list, a player had to be an unrestricted free agent heading into the 2021 season. The Bronco may not be able to retain each of these guys, so they will have to figure out how much to offer and  which guys to offer that money to.

Every player in the NFL is not only playing for the team that employs them, but they are playing for their next contract as well. Finding the best contract available can start quite the bidding war for certain players and that is one of the things that makes the NFL offseason so fun.

Each of the following players here is looking for that next contract, be it in Denver or somewhere else. For the Broncos to keep these three guys, they would have to give each a healthy pay increase.

Don’t forget about Von

Von Miller could hit free agency this offseason as the the team has a club option on his contract and that could allow him to walk.

Miller has missed the entire season due to injury and could have already played his last game in Denver, a potential reality few Broncos fans likely want to accept. Though it would be sad to see Miller go somewhere else to finish his career, the Broncos could save a huge chunk of change (nearly $18 million) by letting him go.
