Denver Broncos week 15 power rankings roundup.

The Denver Broncos took home a win against the Carolina Panthers last week by a score of 32-27. It felt like a huge breakthrough for this struggling team. Despite the Panthers having the same record heading into this matchup (4-8), it feels like a confidence booster.

Drew Lock threw four touchdown passes, two to rookie K.J. Hamler, and one apiece to receiver Tim Patrick and tight end Nick Vannett.

Lock completed 21 of 27 passes for 280 yards, and guess what… He didn’t throw an interception!

Yeah, you heard that right: He didn’t throw an interception.

I’ll admit that I was wrong in thinking that the Broncos would need a defensive touchdown. The big key was that no-interception game.

On offense, the Broncos were missing three starting offensive linemen: left tackle Garett Bolles was a game-day scratch after he woke up sick (not COVID-sick). Right guard Graham Glasgow was inactive due to a foot injury. Demar Dotson was replaced by Elijah Wilkinson at right tackle.

The Broncos caught a huge break with running back Christian McCaffrey out for the Panthers. While the Panthers’ three touchdowns did come on the ground, it still just was not enough to beat the Broncos.

The Broncos will host the Buffalo Bills this week. It surely will be a tough challenge as Buffalo has proven that they can be very, very good. Let’s find out what the media has to say about the Broncos this week heading into this matchup.
