Outside Linebacker Malik Reed

Malik Reed has really stepped up to the plate for the Broncos as he helps replace Miller at one of the outside linebacker spots.

Reed has started nine out of twelve games played this year and has career highs in sacks (6.5), tackles (44 — 30 solo), eight tackles for loss, and 12 quarterback hits.

According to Pro Football Reference, Reed has been sent on 49 blitzes this year. He has 25 quarterback pressures, five quarterback knockdowns, and 13 quarterback hurries.

The development of Reed is something that should excite all Broncos fans.

Despite Miller being out, life isn’t all bad at the left outside linebacker position.
