Denver Broncos vs. New Orleans Saints Week 12 preview

Key Matchups
Jerry Jeudy vs. Marshon Lattimore
Whomever ends up suiting up as the quarterback on Sunday (it appears as if Hinton will get the start), it will be interesting at how many passing plays will be called. If there are any passes, I would look to see how rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy fairs against one of the most well known cornerback of the game.
Can Jerry Jeudy keep the momentum rolling? It will be tricky with a quarterback that hasn’t practice throwing the football. But it should be interesting.
Broncos running attack vs. Saints front seven
With the lack of quarterback, the Broncos will likely turn to the running game to keep the game moving. Unfortunately, the New Orleans Saints run defense is currently the second best unit in the league. Therefore, it will be a really tough time for Denver to get things going.
Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay will have to find a way to break free and get the running game going where the team is already in a tough situation. They were effective last week, running for 189 yards as a team. Let us hope they can get those yards.
X-Factor – Noah Fant
If the Denver Broncos are going to be successful, they will need Noah Fant for either blocking or catching the short passes from the unknown quarterback at the moment. If he can effectively block for the running backs, it could really help out the run game.
If the quarterback is required to throw the ball at times, especially in goal line spots, Fant could really shine to catch a pass out of the flat. It is unknown how much of the game plan he will get to be a part of in these uncertain circumstances.
