Who’s in and who’s out for the Denver Broncos against the New Orleans Saints?

Yesterday, the Denver Broncos found out that they will be without all four of their quarterbacks due to being deemed as close contacts with Jeff Driskel. Driskel has been on the COVID-19 list.

Yes, that’s right: Not only is Driskel out for this game but so are starting quarterback Drew Lock and backups Blake Bortles and Brett Rypien. Bortles is on the practice squad.

As you may have heard, the Broncos are rolling with practice squad receiver Kendall Hinton at starting quarterback today with running back Royce Freeman as his backup.

The Broncos have listed four players on the inactive list for today’s game.

Inside linebacker Mark Barron is inactive once again because of a hamstring injury. Barron has yet to appear in a game for Denver since being signed earlier this year.

Denver’s secondary is mostly intact but will be without cornerback Kevin Toliver II and safety Trey Marshall. Toliver II is a healthy scratch while Marshall is dealing with a shin injury. Marshall had missed this week’s practices.

Guard Netane Muti is inactive again but is a healthy scratch. Again.

At wide receiver, Jerry Jeudy was considered a game-time decision because of ankle and Achilles injuries. Well, good news Broncos Country: Jeudy is good to go today.

Several players on the injury report who were listed as questionable but will end up playing are: guard Graham Glasgow (calf), cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot), tackle Demar Dotson (calf/hand), inside linebacker Joe Jones (calf), and defensive lineman Sylvester Williams (elbow).

Today against the Saints, we should see plenty of rushing plays because of the absence of quarterbacks on the game-day roster. It’s great news that Jeudy will be active and hopefully, he can get involved but this game should be a Phillip Lindsay and Melvin Gordon type of day on the offensive side of the ball.
