Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech

Another big cornerback at 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds, Caleb Farley has what it takes to stick with the bigger wide receivers in the league.

This guy has the ability to be amazing and from a pure athletic standpoint, is probably the most physically gifted guy on this list.

The biggest knock you’ll hear on Farley is that he chose to opt out of the 2020 season and really, that’s not much of a knock. Looking at his tape, there’s not much to dislike.

He can be physical and rarely gets himself out of position. He shows great route recognition and also has tremendous ball skills. In just 23 games at Virginia Tech, he had six interceptions and 19 passes defensed. Those are great numbers.

Farley actually started his playing career as a wide receiver, which explains his great ball skills, but when you see him play cornerback, it’s surprising that he hasn’t been there much longer.

Daniel Jeremiah stated that Farley is one of the best big cornerbacks he has evaluated in recent years and that is high praise.

Teams could feel they are taking a risk on Farley because of his on-field layoff and he could start to slide down the board as a result of that, but if he is there when the Broncos go on the clock, the team should strongly consider selecting him as his upside is off the charts.
