2. KJ Hamler scores multiple touchdowns

So far in the 2020 season, rookie receiver KJ Hamler has one touchdown.

That touchdown will be one he and Broncos Country remember forever as the game-winner against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers.

Over the past three games, Hamler has been targeted in the passing game 26 total times. He’s also gotten a handful of carries this year.

Against the Saints, there could be an opportunity for KJ Hamler to get on the board a couple of times. Hamler’s speed is obviously one of his top traits, but he has shown this season as a rookie that he has very strong hands.

If the Broncos can find ways to get Hamler the ball in the open field, the Saints have given up 20 touchdowns through the air and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, the primary nickel defensive back for the Saints, has allowed nearly 72 percent of the passes into his coverage to be caught.

He leads the Saints in YAC allowed even though overall, he’s having a tremendous season, especially as a blitzer and run defender.

If he’s forced into man coverage with KJ Hamler, that could be advantage Hamler.
