Justin Simmons

Last but certainly not least, the hero of the day, safety Justin Simmons. While Simmons waits for a new payday from the Denver Broncos, he continues to prove just why he deserves that new contract. Simmons continues to play at a high level of football and proves each week why he is one of the best safeties in football.

Today, the defense was called upon to make a play following Melvin Gordon’s goal-line fumble.

Simmons answered that call, picking off Ryan Fitzpatrick in the end zone to put away the victory for the Denver Broncos.

Each week, we talk about just how good Justin Simmons is, but it truly cannot be said enough. He is easily one of the most valuable members of this franchise, and it would be a monumental mistake for the Broncos to let him walk away in the offseason.

Once again, another plea to John Elway — PAY THE MAN!

Well, folks, you may be wondering where the Stock Down portion for this week is.

In light of the Denver Broncos putting together such a solid performance, we did not see enough bad from any specific player to place them onto a Stock Down segment.

Here’s to hoping this trend continues!
