Denver Broncos: Stock report after big win over Dolphins
Drew Lock
There were a lot of eyes on Drew Lock after last week.
There was a lot of criticism about Lock after last week.
Things looked as if they would get worse after Lock threw a costly interception on the first drive of the game.
However, Lock tuned out the noise, picked himself up, and quieted the negativity. Although Lock did not finish the day with any touchdowns, his performance this week was much better than his last, finishing the day with 270 pass yards, and proved that he is able to steer this offense when called upon.
What was most impressive about Lock’s game was his response to the rib injury sustained in the loss to the Raiders. Lock showed no sign of fear and did a lot of damage to Miami’s defense using his legs, opting to pick up the first down himself when he could not find an open receiver.
It is still unclear what the future holds for Drew Lock. However, one thing is clear–it is not time to move on from him, or time to give up on him. This man is focused, and willing to do what it takes to bring victory to this team.
