The Denver Pass Rush

The team overall put together a great effort, but the unit that performed the best was definitely the Denver Broncos’ pass rush.

The unit finished the contest with six sacks on Tua Tagovailoa, who would eventually be benched in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick, who put up a valiant effort, but gradually came up short in the Dolphins’ comeback effort.

Miami’s offensive line had previously been praised for their protection of Tua–that ended today. DeMarcus Walker was credited with half a sack, Dre’Mont Jones and Bradley Chubb were each credited with one, Malik Reed with 1.5, and DeShawn Williams was the man of the day with two sacks. This Broncos’ pass rush is missing their star in Von Miller, and the younger guys have responded well.

You can’t ask for much more.

Even better, whispers are still circulating of a potential Von Miller return in December. If you could get the future Hall-of-Famer back beside the young men he has mentored, it would be a terrifying result for opposing QB’s.
