Denver Broncos stock report after big win vs. Miami Dolphins.

Broncos Country, it feels good to be back in the win column! The Denver Broncos won a thriller over the Miami Dolphins 20-13, a huge win that could kickstart a turnaround for this team.

The Broncos are into a tough stretch, so no promises, but regardless of what happens, this was a quality win over a quality football team that the Denver Broncos can hang their helmets on.

While the Broncos’ offense did not score a multitude of points on the day, they did something that they have struggled to do thus far — moved the ball in the first half.

This team showed massive improvement and fight against a Wild Card contender.

While this team’s overall performance wasn’t perfect, it was much better than weeks past.

Let’s get to this week’s stock report.

Stock Up

Alexander Johnson, LB

The defense really shined today, and Alexander Johnson was a big part of that, finishing the day with six tackles. However, Johnson’s performance is so much more than stats. Johnson simply is everywhere on the field, all day.

After a huge day against the Chargers two weeks ago, Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed was limited to just 43 yards on the day. Ahmed was constantly met and trailed by Johnson, whose speed and physicality really is something else.

When discussing the Broncos’ defense, Alexander Johnson is not the first name that will be brought up, but he has been one of the most vital pieces of this Broncos’ defense this season.

Johnson has the ability to fly around the field and hits with force. In fact, his hit on Salvon Ahmed in Sunday’s game simply stopped Ahmed in his tracks–a textbook hit.

Alexander Johnson has really come into his own with this Denver Broncos team and seems to improve with each passing week.
