In his second season with the Denver Broncos, Malik Reed has slowly but surely had a steady ascent.

He came into this game against the Miami Dolphins with five sacks, nine QB hits, and 18 total pressures in nine games. He was part of the Broncos’ defense absolutely dominating Tua Tagovailoa for three quarters, to the tune of six tackles, 1.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, and three QB hits.

Reed was a terror off of the edge for the Broncos in this game against a young Miami Dolphins offensive line.

The great thing about Reed is that his game is well-rounded and he isn’t just a player who comes onto the field to provide pass rush prowess on third downs. He is a legitimate three-down player in the NFL and has developed nicely since the Broncos picked him up as a UDFA in 2019.

He’s been outstanding in relief of Von Miller this season, all things considered.
