After yet another loss, where are the Denver Broncos this time in the power rankings?

It’s becoming a sad reality that the Denver Broncos are just not an experienced enough group to compete. And it will take a number of years before they are.

Last Sunday, the Broncos got clobbered by the Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 37-12. Denver gave up four touchdowns via the run game of the Raiders—two each from Josh Jacobs and former Bronco Devontae Booker. It was evident that the team was really missing their run stuffers in Jurrell Casey, Mike Purcell, and Shelby Harris.

During the game, quarterback Drew Lock got very beaten up. He just took way too many hits, including one by defensive lineman Arden Key that injured Lock. It appears to be that it was just a good play call by the Raiders in the chess match of football. The Broncos called a play that had Garett Bolles blocking somebody else.

A big storyline the Broncos face after the season is whether or not Lock is the future. There are still seven games left of this season and plenty of snaps to be played. Hopefully, there will be a little more clarity regarding Lock’s future.

With that being said, there is a chance that he misses this week’s game.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Broncos cut cornerback Davontae Harris on Tuesday after he had been struggling quite a bit this year, especially against the Atlanta Falcons.

Cornerbacks A.J. Bouye, Bryce Callahan, Michael Ojemudia, made Harris expendable.

Now in week 11, the Broncos will go up against rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. It’s disappointing to say but this Broncos team has definitely seen better days and it will take a lot to get past the Dolphins, and possibly every other team remaining on the 2020 schedule.

Now, where are the Broncos in this week’s power rankings? Let’s find out.
