Although Jerry Jeudy’s rookie season could be much better, mainly due to offensive inconsistency, one has to admit that Jeudy’s potential as a great NFL receiver really came through today.

Although he hauled in just 50 percent of his targets, Jeudy finished the day with seven receptions for 125 yards, the first 100-yard game of his NFL career. Jeudy averaged 17.9 YAC.

Jeudy displayed his athleticism and his freak speed, showing the football world just what a specimen the rookie really is. He also hauled in just his second touchdown of the season, not overly surprising, considering how much difficulty this team has had in finding the end zone.

It is undisputed that Jerry Jeudy has all the potential and makings of a great receiver. It has just been overshadowed by his early-season drops, overthrows, and difficulty for the offense in moving the ball. If the offense can find a way to click, expect big things out of Jeudy going forward.
