Tim Patrick, WR

Leading up to training camp in 2020, I was almost certain that Tim Patrick’s roster spot was in jeopardy.

After the Denver Broncos used three picks in the 2020 NFL Draft on the wide receiver position, Patrick’s role was unclear. He has been one of the biggest surprises in the 2020 season for the Denver Broncos, as far as I’m concerned.

Taking over for the injured Courtland Sutton, Patrick has racked up 354 yards receiving in six games including multiple games with over 100 yards.

Patrick has been a solid big-play threat throughout his first few years with the Denver Broncos. He had not developed into an all-around weapon at the wide receiver position, but that has really changed in 2020.

While Patrick is perhaps not likely to eclipse the numbers we saw last year from Courtland Sutton, he is undoubtedly proving to be one of the Broncos’ top offensive weapons and one of the most improved players on the roster, offense or defense.
