4. Jets defensive linemen

The New York Jets are a dumpster fire, and if you can handle the smoke, there might be something on the discount heap that is worth having.

The Jets have shown a willingness to deal players for picks, and rightly so as an outright rebuild is on the way.

On the defensive line, the Jets have some fun players who could help the Broncos down the stretch of this season.

Quinnen Williams was their first-round pick in 2019, and even though his name has been floated out there, it would likely take at least a first-round pick to get him off of the Jets’ hands at this point. If the price is a second-rounder, the Broncos should seriously consider it.

If Williams is out of the question, 24-year-old John Franklin-Myers could be a really fun pickup for the Broncos. When given snaps this season, Franklin-Myers has really taken advantage and he has quietly been a bright spot on a team that has really needed something to hang its hat on.

If not Franklin-Myers, perhaps Nathan Shepherd could be a fit for the Broncos. Shepherd has size, strength, quickness, and he had a pair of sacks in nine games last season. He dominated the 2018 Senior Bowl where the Broncos were coaching.

Any one of these three options could be intriguing pickups for the Broncos.
