Another divisional game is on deck as the Broncos welcome the Los Angeles Chargers to Denver.

It has been some time since the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers have faced off against each other. In fact, Drew Lock was making his first start in the team’s last meeting. It would take a game-winning field goal from Brandon McManus to record the team’s first win with Lock under center.

Now, the Chargers themselves have a new quarterback in Justin Herbert. He was able to get his first win as a Charger last Sunday against Jacksonville. Will he be able to build off of that?

Both of these teams sit at 2-4 on the season but have gotten to that point in various ways. In each of the Chargers games, they have been competitive. Denver has been soundly beaten in their last two losses to the Buccaneers and the Chiefs. They were one play away from their first two losses.

Denver’s only two wins in 2020 have come against the AFC East. They will be looking for their first win outside of that division as well as their first win in their own division. Let us take a dive into the matchup set to take place this weekend.
