Denver Broncos: Stock Report After Letdown vs Chiefs

Phillip Lindsay, RB
Although he did not finish out the game, for the second week in a row, running back Phillip Lindsay has demonstrated just how valuable he is to this Denver Broncos’ offense. In just two quarters of football, Phillip Lindsay rushed for 79 yards on nine carries, averaging 8.8 yards a carry.
Unfortunately, Phillip Lindsay exited the game before halftime to enter the concussion protocol and did not return. Ironically, Lindsay’s departure really seemed to be the turning point of when everything went downhill for the Broncos’ offense, which really got nothing going from that point on.
Realistically, Lindsay was Denver’s biggest producer, even after playing just two quarters. After a 101-yard rush performance against the Patriots, Lindsay was definitely on pace for another.
Although it may not have been enough of a difference for a Broncos’ win, this game could have been much closer had Phillip Lindsay stayed healthy the entire game.
Lindsay once again proved how valuable he is to this team, and proved how much more efficient the offense is when he is on the field.
