2. Bradley Chubb’s revival

Bradley Chubb was absolutely outstanding in his first 20 NFL games. Up until he tore his ACL against the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, it looked like Chubb was well on his way to becoming one of the best and most disruptive EDGE players in the entire NFL.

It’s been somewhat slow going for Chubb to open the 2020 season, and understandably so.

Chubb has still been getting pressures and hits but the sacks finally started to come when the Broncos took on the Buccaneers. Although he wasn’t credited for it, Chubb got his first ‘sack’ of the season on Tom Brady and then kicked things into high gear against the New York Jets, where he took advantage of a favorable matchup.

As Chubb’s knee continues to feel better and better, I think he’s going to establish himself as a premier edge rusher again, and give the Broncos that “closer” type of player who can really affect games regularly.
