Melvin Gordon

Melvin Gordon seems to be clicking with the Broncos’ offensive scheme right now.

After being a complete non-factor against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3, Gordon finished the evening with his first 100-yard rushing game of the 2020 season. He racked up 107 yards and two touchdowns, the second coming at the end of the game to seal the victory for the Denver Broncos, when the Jets had still had time to get the ball back and had they played their cards right, attempted to retake the lead.

Gordon had a bit of a rough start to the 2020 season, fumbling a pivotal carry in Week 1 against the Titans, but is making progress.

Some pressure will be taken off of Gordon as well once Phillip Lindsay is healthy and ready to step back into the lineup. At that point, we will finally get to see the potential 1-2 punch that we waited patiently to see all offseason.
