4. Lloyd Cushenberry III, C

Asking a guy to come in and be your starting center as a rookie is tough for anyone, even for a player like Lloyd Cushenberry III, who was considered arguably the best at his position in the 2020 NFL Draft class.

Transitioning to the NFL is not easy for anyone. Doing so without a full offseason and having to go through competition for reps in training camp is even tougher.

All things considered, Lloyd Cushenberry III has shown great poise and maturity for his age, and as the pivot on the offensive line and guy who makes all the protection calls, he’s done a great job.

The physical side of the game will get easier for him in time, but Cushenberry has shown himself to be a pro in the intangible aspects of the game.

Cushenberry has had to snap to three different QBs and adjust to so much, but he’s also been taken advantage of by bigger, stronger NFL players.
