Brady and Bucs still working to jell in Tampa Bay

While the Bucs won their first game of the season over the Carolina Panthers last week, it feels as if we still have yet to see how the Bucs’ offense will look at full potential. Of course, this is a new era in Tampa Bay and for Tom Brady, so this will be a process.

Perhaps Tom Brady is just off to a slow start, or perhaps he is finally looking his age. However, the Bucs have a stacked squad, and once they begin firing on all cylinders, this team could be a scary good NFC contender.

Broncos bring in Blake Bortles as relief effort

While the slug of Denver Broncos’ injuries could have been a top storyline, perhaps the biggest storyline of the week was the Broncos bringing in former Jaguars QB Blake Bortles.

While the Bortles signing generated mixed reviews from Broncos Country, it will likely only be temporary. Bortles inked a one-year deal, but may only be needed in the instance that Jeff Driskel gets injured prior to Drew Lock’s eventual return. Who knows? Maybe Bortles just needed to go into the right system to begin to succeed.
