Even if Courtland Sutton were healthy and playing the rest of the 2020 season, which we all wish was happening, it’s clear that Noah Fant’s target share was going to have to go up one way or another.

Fant has 11 targets in two games, and that’s with basically two halves of play between the Titans and Steelers games with few looks if any.

Fant has been targeted 11 times in two games, but that figure could easily be doubled based on his production so far.

The second-year tight end leads the Broncos with nine receptions, 138 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. His 12.5 yards per target also ranks best on the team through two games.

With his skills clearly progressed, Fant is in line for a hefty role in Denver’s offense, especially with Sutton going down.

He should be going from 5-6 targets per game to at least 7-8.
