5. Time for a new right tackle?

The Pittsburgh Steelers owe the Denver Broncos’ offensive line some kind of nice watch or meal at the end of the season, because the Broncos helped them seriously pad their pass rush stats in this game.

The Broncos surrendered a whopping 19 quarterback hits, including seven sacks on the QB. As crazy as it sounds, Jeff Driskel was actually not even hit on all of his sacks.

Elijah Wilkinson required help all game long, and when he wasn’t helped, he was getting whipped by TJ Watt.

That’s an unfair matchup for Wilkinson anyway, as Watt is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, but allowing 19 hits on the quarterback is absolutely inexcusable and makes it all the more staggering the Denver Broncos were even in this game.

The Broncos brought in veteran Demar Dotson in the offseason when Ja’Wuan James opted out. Is it possible that Dotson is worse than what we saw in this game from Wilkinson?

It’s hard to know, but Mike Munchak probably has a good idea and at this point, we’ll have to trust his judgment.

Still, it’s hard to believe that what the Broncos have in Dotson is worse than what we saw from Wilkinson, even in a very tough matchup, on Sunday.
