Bradley Chubb

Let’s just start right here.

Bradley Chubb was close to invisible in the game on Monday night and that is a bad sign. Whether he needed to shake off the rust or something else, he needs to be a guy who makes plays and disrupts the opposing offense all game.

Last season when he was injured, Von Miller finished with just eight sacks. The common excuse was that he was getting more attention from the other side because Chubb wasn’t there That simply can’t be an excuse for Chubb this year.

The offensive line of Pittsburgh can be had, particularly with Zach Banner out for the season, and the Broncos must create pressure. Chubb needs to lead that charge.

Roethlisberger has always been tough to bring down, but he is far less mobile than he once was. Chubb needs to find a way to post at  least one sack in this game.

Last week against the Titans, he had no sacks and didn’t even have a tackle in the game. If he is that non-existent against Pittsburgh, there will be some real doubts about what kind of season he is going to have.
