The Denver Broncos went toe-to-toe with the Tennessee Titans, the AFC runner-up in 2019, without their best offensive (Courtland Sutton) and defensive (Von Miller) players.
There are no moral victories in the standings and the Broncos obviously have to make lemonade with whatever players are available, but it’s encouraging to see the team’s depth is much better than in years past, and some key players are getting healthy from camp or injuries suffered before the regular season.
