How will Drew Lock look?

Every team starts with the quarterback position and for the Broncos, that is no different. Fans are eager to see just how Drew Lock will look in year number two.

There is plenty of reason to be excited. Lock looked terrific in the five starts he made last  season, but those who see the glass as half full will point to things like the small sample size and the caliber of defenses he faced.

That’s all well and good.

Lock is the man now in Denver and he won’t have to worry about looking over his shoulder, at least for this season. The Broncos have backed him up too, bringing in players such as Melvin Gordon, Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler, all with the intention of making Lock’s life easier.

Against the Titans, Lock will be faced with a tough test going against their defense. Just go back and look at what they did to the league MVP, Lamar Jackson, in last year’s divisional playoffs.

For a fanbase that has had to sit through days of Joe Flacco, Case Keenum, Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian, Broncos fans are hopeful that the team has finally found a long-term leader.
