Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Another former first-round pick who was just released by his new team, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is one final option for the team if he would be willing to accept a lesser role.

More from Predominantly Orange

Clinton-Dix spent five productive seasons with the Packers, the team that drafted him. He has bounced around the league since, spending one season each with the Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears. He was looking to get things back on track with the Dallas Cowboys this year, but he was released less than six months after being  signed.

Clinton-Dix is a veteran who could really step up in a pinch. He is a guy who would likely be a gameday inactive quite often as he may not be the best special teams contributor, but the former Pro Bowl safety has 552 career tackles and 16 interceptions.

That kind of playing experience would be nice to draw on if the team needed someone to step in for a game or two or even to line up in certain sub packages.

Each of these guys could be a good option for the Broncos as it would be wise to place more depth on the roster. It all depends on whether or not they really only wanted to keep three safeties or if the combination of Holder, Locke and Coleman just wasn’t up to the task.
