Damarious Randall

Just five years ago, Damarious Randall was the No. 15 overall pick of the Green Bay Packers. While he has never really flashed the first-round potential most felt he had, he hasn’t been terrible either.

Randall spent three seasons with the Packers before two with the Cleveland Browns. He was looking for a fresh start with the Las Vegas Raiders this year but that didn’t work out and he was cut. The Broncos could make a move on him after he was released by a division rival.

Randall has played in 65 games across his career, intercepting 14 passes in the process. He also has 290 total tackles and 47 pass deflections. He has had at least three interceptions in each of his seasons in the league aside from last year, when he had zero with the Browns.

That season and the fact that the Raiders gave up on him so easily could be a sign if regression, but it won’t hurt much at all to kick the tires on a player off the waiver wire.

He just turned 28 years old and should have plenty of football left in him. Of the players on this list, he is the guy I would prioritize first. He would make  nice backup for Simmons or Jackson due to his experience and production in the league.
