3 players the Denver Broncos should not have cut

Justin Hollins
This would not have been so surprising if this news had not followed the announcement that veteran linebacker and Super Bowl 50 Champion Todd Davis had been released, along with the news that rookie linebacker Derrek Tuszka had been waived, although expected to be a practice squad guy.
While linebacker is another position in which the Broncos possessed an over-abundance of players, Justin Hollins has already proven himself to be a solid linebacker, and got quite a bit of playing time in 2019, and paired nicely alongside guys like Von Miller and former Bronco Derek Wolfe.
Of course, the Broncos have their diamond in the rough in Alexander Johnson, and Josey Jewell will see an increased workload with the departure of Davis. However, Hollins was a reliable backup, and it is always comforting to have that security blanket if called upon. However, Vic Fangio is not opposed to a quick reunion.
“If he doesn’t get claimed here today, he’s definitely a guy we’ll have interest in”, Fangio said (per Sayre Bedinger).
While Hollins would be a good find off of the waiver wire for another team, it would be great if he clears and the Broncos are able to add him to the practice squad.
