The Broncos have the best safety duo in the NFL right now with Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson, but what about behind those guys?
The team is confident in young Trey Marshall, who started some games last season, but you typically roll into the regular season with four safeties on the active roster.
If the team is going to keep four safeties, it sounds like Alijah Holder is a player making strides at 2020 training camp.
Alijah Holder has had another nice practice.

The cornerback-turned-safety has been strong in pass coverage and physical in run support.
I like his chances to make the roster.
The Broncos really liked Holder as an undrafted player last year out of Stanford, and if he’s shown enough in his transition from cornerback to safety, you’ve got to think a strong 2020 training camp increases his chances of at least cracking the initial 53-man roster as one of a likely 10 defensive backs.
