2. Ryker Mathews, OT

The Denver Broncos are certainly not renowned for their offensive line depth around the league, so perhaps one of this year’s top free agent offensive linemen from the CFL could be an intriguing option.

Mathews was a coveted free agent pickup for the BC Lions who has played both offensive tackle positions and has also recently competed in an NFL camp.

Mathews was cut last year by the New England Patriots after getting a shot in their camp, so there’s precedent to him getting shots in the NFL before.

At 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, Mathews would certainly be worth a look in training camp against the Broncos’ tremendous edge rushers.

He played his college ball at BYU and at the age of 27, perhaps he has figured some things out with his game to be able to hold up against NFL talent.
