Who were the top standout players from day one of Denver Broncos training camp?

The Denver Broncos have finally started their official ‘training camp’ practices after a few weeks of makeshift OTAs to get players re-acclimated to being in the building, get regular COVID-19 testing, and just generally get out on the football field for some actual team-sanctioned work.

It’s really exciting to have some semblance of normalcy in the football world, especially with the NCAA and all of college football in question for the fall season.

The Denver Broncos have one of the most exciting young rosters in the NFL, and a fan base that simply can’t wait to see how all of the new pieces fit together.

Even those outside of the fan base have taken notice of the great work John Elway and the front office have done over the past three offseasons of building this team.

The majority of that impressive young roster was out on the field for practice on Friday, save for tight end/fullback Andrew Beck (COVID list) and tight end Austin Fort, who tweaked the knee he injured in the 2019 preseason.

Aside from those two guys, everyone else at Denver Broncos camp is a full go.

Unfortunately, after attending Denver Broncos training camp nearly every year for the last two-plus decades, I was not able to be there to see things in person.

Fortunately, there are great people able to get eyes on practice and give the fans an account of which players had strong first days of camp.
