Can the Denver Broncos be better in these categories in 2020?

The Denver Broncos fell short of their goals in 2019 as they finished with a 7-9 record. While that was good for second place in the AFC West, it was not good enough to lock down a wildcard spot in the playoffs.

They are looking to change that in the upcoming season, but there will be obstacles. First off, no preseason. That may hurt the entire team because they are a young team and have quite a few new starters and players who the Broncos hope to make an impact in their rookie year, or first year with the team.

One of the bigger moves the Broncos made was firing offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello following the disastrous offensive performances they put forward in the first ten or so weeks of the season.

It was not until Drew Lock took over that the Broncos actually looked good on the offensive side of the ball.

On defense, there were plenty of struggles. The team brought in a few key free agents this offseason who will hopefully fill the holes that were so obvious last season.

There were other things that the Broncos could do better at and hopefully these will translate into more wins for the team in 2020.
