Edge Rushers

Prediction: A new young guy is going to ‘win’ practice every day

Everyone expects Von Miller and Bradley Chubb to show out in practice. As a matter of fact, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear that Miller and Chubb are asked to go less than 100 percent so the Broncos can actually get a good feel for their new offense.

With that said, I think the young pass rushers behind Miller and Chubb are going to trade off ‘winning’ practice every day.

Malik Reed, Justin Hollins, and Derrek Tuszka are all very talented players off the edge who all play 100 miles per hour at any given time, and going up against the Broncos’ offensive tackle depth? I expect them to constantly be making plays in camp.

The Broncos’ edge depth situation will be a fun one to monitor throughout camp. These guys obviously can’t touch the quarterback, but that doesn’t mean they can’t whip an offensive lineman on their way to him.

I can’t wait to see the year two growth for both Reed and Hollins, what veteran Jeremiah Attaochu can bring to the table after his strong 2019 campaign, and how well Tuszka can fit as an OLB in Vic Fangio’s defense.
