Denver Broncos training camp predictions for each position group in 2020.

The Denver Broncos will effectively open up ‘training camp’ on August 14, according to head coach Vic Fangio.

The team has reported for offseason duty and two players — defensive lineman Kyle Peko and starting right tackle Ja’Wuan James — have opted out of the 2020 season due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even with the majority of the team reporting for work, the Broncos are currently going through an introductory period to their offseason work, essentially having an expedited OTAs ahead of their typical padded training camp practices, which will begin on the 14th.

What can we expect in these unprecedented conditions? The team is doing its best at the present moment to make the work environment a safe one for the players, not having full-team gatherings or meetings and limiting the on-field contact for the time being.

Eventually, that will have to change. Players are constantly being tested, checked, and sanitized to make sure extensive precautions are taken, and when the pads go on, these guys are going to be back to full-contact football as we know it.

What can we expect from each position group on the Broncos? Training camp is always a time to expect some of the unexpected with individual players breaking out on seemingly a daily basis.

Here are predictions for every position group on the Broncos and what we might see when camp officially opens on August 14.
