Nate Solder, OT, New York Giants

The New York Giants drafted two tackles early in 1st round pick Georgia’s Andrew Thomas and third-rounder Matt Peart.

Now, Peart is a project, but if he shows well early, the Giants would look to get something for Solder, who has a large contract.

Though Solder is coming off his worst year, he does have a rapport with Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur.

Solder has had a solid career and might provide the Broncos with a steady option should training camp show the team that Garrett Bolles and Elijiah Wilkerson are not up for the task or Ja’Wuan James suffers another injury.

Solder just might be the addition this offensive line needs if the price is right. A trade would be worth exploring if Munchak’s confidence wavers on either outside option.
