Although this one is perhaps stating a bit of the obvious, I think Noah Fant is going to stand out in 2020 training camp in a big way.

Although Fant’s fit with Rich Scangarello’s offense last year was somewhat of a no-brainer considering the offense he played in at Iowa, I think what we’re going to see from him in the Pat Shurmur offense is going to be even better.

Fant was the team’s first-round pick in 2019 despite a lot more fanfare going to Drew Lock and Dalton Risner, the team’s second-round picks.

Fant turned in a pretty remarkable rookie season, especially when considering the struggles he had early on.

He quickly established himself as a big-play threat, averaging over 14 yards per reception and finishing among the league leaders in yards after the catch per reception.

In Pat Shurmur’s offense, I think we will see Fant in so many more situations where his size and athleticism can exploit the defense in the passing game. He will be a more featured piece in the offense and I think the hype around him early in camp will be huge.
