Earl Meggett (The Longest Yard)

Played by Nelly

By: Cameron Parker

The last of our playmakers is Earl Meggett, the quiet superstar of the Mean Machine in The Longest Yard.

Meggett fits the mold of today’s NFL with how shifty he is in the open field, and he can be that all-purpose running back any quarterback can trust.

He has tremendous value on special teams and in the backfield. Meggett is a true threat in every phase of the game with speed, quickness, agility, some sick moves in space, and a nose for the end zone.

The team would be lucky to have a player like Meggett on their roster, an all-purpose back who has proven he can let his game do the talking.
