Justin Simmons, FS

Justin Simmons is an important piece to the defense of the Broncos and is a top player at the free safety position across the NFL.

Not only has he played every defensive snap in the last two years for the Broncos, but he undoubtedly has made the most out of those snaps, being one of the best players on the Broncos defense.

Simmons’ ability to detect what’s coming from the opposing offense is something that sets him apart from others. He’s also got tremendous athleticism to help him make plays such as jumping interceptions or pass breakups.

As for where Simmons ranks among the top players in the entire league, that’s definitely up for debate. I realize this is very different and by no means a guideline to go by, but Simmons was rated at the third-highest free safety in the upcoming Madden 21 game.

Either way, it will be great to see Simmons getting recognition. It will be recognition that he has earned.
